Within everyone lies a wellspring of creativity. It bubbles up through the depths to be known by the sun and stars. Creativity nourishes many fields, and its highest goals -- service and meaning-making -- ennoble even the humblest skills.

 

When people stand out by leading with their creativity, a paradox is unveiled. Though their work is distinctive, they fade into the background of what they do. We admire Berthe Morisot not for herself but for her paintings.
